The Approach

Observe, plan, coach, follow through, adjust. Then do it again.

It starts with how you move

Before any program, Jon watches how you move: how you squat, reach, balance, carry and recover. Gymnastics taught him to see small faults early, before they turn into pain or a plateau.

Strength that serves the rest of your life

The goal is not a number on a bar. It is a body that does what your life asks of it: lifting your kids, carrying the bags, playing your sport, getting up off the floor easily at seventy. Strength, balance, mobility and power are trained together for that reason.

Food, sleep and stress are part of training

What you eat, how you sleep and how much pressure you are under change how you train and how you recover. Jon pays attention to all three and helps you build habits that last, within the limits of coaching.

How progress is measured

Progress is measured against what you came for: how you move, what you can lift or hold, how you feel day to day, and whether the habits are sticking. It is reviewed with you regularly and the plan changes when it should.
